My race results yesterday prove that the Method works. I have trained with more intensity than ever before and yet I never felt tired on any training day. I didn't need to take a single day off (apart from the compulsory ones) in the 12 weeks of the program. Yesterday I PR'd in the swim, the bike and the run. At this annual race my best result (last year) was 2hr 7min. Yesterday i did it in 1hr 59min (I actually won the race!) on the same bike with the same shoes on the same course and in the same weather conditions as last year. That's 8 mins!!! I never thought I could go that fast! [more]- thyrio, ironguides Forum
I have to say that I absolutely love your training plans. They just work so well for me... - Gary, Aussie in Canada - Monthly Subscriber
I can really recommend to purchase one of the plans, my times improve, I can do an (for me, before) unbelievable amount of intensity and still recover very well. What's really great about the plan:
1. Good recovery
2. Incredible intensity (realized that today in a 3k swim, i swam 1k all out ... that's a lot for somebody who never did that before)
3. Good tracking of improvements [more]

Part of me wants to keep this all to myself and not tell any of my friends but...I'm only on my 4th week on the intermediate 70.3 plan and my 100m swim has improved from 1:35 to 1:24 [more] - user Alfalfa, ironguides Forum
I used to just park my heart rate in zone 2-3 and run for an hour. Now, training with The Method I'm glad to have some variety. I did have my heart rate monitor on, but didn’t pay attention to it…just marveled at how fast I could go when I wasn’t worried about going slow! - Jennifer, Georgia
The last time I was coached I was basically logging miles and while I improved, it was nowhere like the improvement that I'm seeing now. - Joel, Alberta
